Aljazeera journalists robbed in Botswana

Botswana – Two British journalists working for Aljazeera TV English channel were robbed of their cameras, laptops and other expensive equipment during a burglary at a Gaborone guesthouse, the Midweek Sun newspaper reported here on Wednesday.

The paper said the journalists, Sorious Samura and Clive Paterson, are in Botswana making a documentary on Botswana following Samura’s epic Blood Diamonds film that helped Botswana to argue her case for development.

The duo’s week-long holiday was fine until Sunday night when robbers hit them in what was supposed to be a well secured facility…
