Tunisia: Beirut Blast – Tunisia to Dispatch Two Military Planes Loaded With Food, Medical Aid

Tunis/Tunisia — President of the Republic Kais Saied ordered Wednesday two military planes loaded with food and medical aid to be dispatched urgently to Lebanon to support the Lebanese people and help treat thousands injured in Beirut’s double blast.

The President met in Carthage with Defence Minister Imed Hazgui and Social Affairs Minister and Acting Health Minister Habib Kchaou to discuss ways to help the Lebanese people, the Presidency said in a press release.
