Washington D.C. — The US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has imposed sanctions on Abdelfattah El Burhan, the commander-in-chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and chairperson of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council.
