Sudan: Al-Burhan Says Sudan Committed to US-Sponsored Peace Efforts in Message to Trump

Khartoum — President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan said in a post on X:

“I have sent a letter to US President Donald Trump, expressing Sudan’s commitment to the peace efforts sponsored by the United States.

“The Government of Sudan stands ready to work in good faith with all parties to achieve a just and lasting peace that safeguards our sovereignty, the unity and territorial integrity of our country, and the dignity of our people.”
