The European Union has called for a end to hostilities in Tripoli, Libya. The country’s political divisions can only be addressed through renewed dialogue and mediation, it said.
“We are gravely concerned by the recent violent clashes in Tripoli. We urge all sides to cease violence immediately and engage in meaningful dialogue,” the statement from Brussels read.
