Egypt: 18.4k Cases of Encroachments, Illegal Buildings On State-Owned, Agricultural Land Removed in May – Cabinet

Egyptian authorities have removed a total of 18,435 cases of encroachments and illegal buildings in the period between May 10 and 30, 2025, said the Egyptian cabinet in a statement on Sunday, June 8, 2025.

This was the first phase of the 26th campaign of encroachment removals, while the next phase was launched on June 7th and will last until June 27th, the statement added.
