Namibia wants to employ 100 nurses from Kenya

Namibia wants to employ 100 nurses from Kenya to work in the southern African country for the next two years.

An advertisement in the Daily Nation said 80 should be midwives and the rest theatre nurses.

The search for nurses follows a Memorandum of Understanding on April 1, 2009 between the Namibian Ministry of Health and Social Services and Kenya.

Principal Health Secretary Prof Fred Segor says applicants must have diplomas and higher diplomas.
