Rwandan Peacekeepers performing community work in Central African Republic

Rwanda’s Mechanised Infantry Battalion (RwaMechBatt1) serving in the African-led International Support Mission to the Central African Republic (MISCA), on 21st June, conducted community work “Umuganda” in the area of Ngaragba prison in CAR’s capital Bangui.

The Peacekeepers were joined by the local police, gendarmerie and local leaders in the area of Ngaragba. The aim of the community work was to clean the area surrounding Garagba prison and rehabilitate the road network heading to 4th Arrondissement, according to Rwandan contingent in MISCA who organised the community work…
