Namibia – Police have said a woman from Oshaandjela village in Ondangwa stabbed her 79-year-old boyfriend to death yesterday morning during a quarrel over a blanket that had fallen from their bed.
Sergeant Slogan Matheus, the police spokesperson, confirmed the incident yesterday during the weekend press briefing in Windhoek.
Matheus said the man, Johannes Nakatana Mumbala, died on the spot when the 47-year-old woman (name withheld pending her court appearance) stabbed him several times with a knife all over his body.
He said the suspect was arrested and is in custody, while police investigations into the matter continue.
