Sudan: Surge in Online Abuse Targets Sudanese Women Journalists

Amsterdam / Kampala / Cairo — The Sudanese Journalists Syndicate has reported a sharp rise in digital harassment and violence against women journalists, with more than 250 subjected to various forms of online threats and defamation on social media platforms, particularly Facebook.
