Cairo / Amsterdam — Sudan’s ambassador to Egypt has held talks with the UN refugee agency on supporting Sudanese displaced by war, as Amnesty International warned of a widening crackdown on refugees including arbitrary arrests and unlawful deportations.
The talks coincide with reports, as carried earlier by Radio Dabanga, that Sudanese women and chlidren have been subjuect to arbitrary arests in Egypt.
