Botswana: Motshegwa Acknowledges Persistent Shortage of Medicines

Gaborone — The Minister of Local Government and Traditional Affairs, Mr Ketlhalefile Motshegwa has acknowledged the persistent shortage of medicines and consumables across all facilities, including those in rural areas.

Responding to a parliamentary question on Wednesday, the minister noted that in his State-of-the Nation-Address (SONA), the President indicated that the country should expect a significant increase in the supply of medicines in the coming weeks.
