Sudan: Cash Crisis Exacerbates Famine in Darfur and Kordofan

Amsterdam — Adam Osman, a resident of El Daein in East Darfur, was forced to transfer SDG50,000 from his banking application in exchange for SDG40,000 in cash, paying a commission equivalent to 20 per cent.
