Nigeria: Edo SSG Resigns, Eyes Deputy Governorship Position in 2024 Election

Mr Ogie is seeking the deputy governorship position on the PDP platform, an official said.

The Secretary to the Edo State Government, Osarodion Ogie, has resigned his appointment.

In a statement on Monday, Crusoe Osagie, the special adviser to Governor Godwin Obaseki on media, said Mr Ogie resigned to run for the position of deputy governor of the state in the 21 September election.
