The Cuban Ambassador to Ethiopia Jorge Lefebre Nicolás, held a meeting with the Deputy Foreign Minister of South Sudan, Deng Dau Deng Malek, during his visit to Addis Ababa. They exchanged on the world situation and the challenges facing the economies of both countries, which in the case of Cuba is further intensified by the strengthening of the US blockade of Cuba in the current circumstances.
Both diplomats reaffirmed the good relations between the two countries, as well as the will to maintain them. The Sudanese diplomat thanked the Cuban cooperation, in particular, in the training of young doctors.
