The University of Cape Town has a planned “strike” whereby students and union workers threaten to “shut down” the university by Thursday.

Students with outstanding debt and workers that are outsourced form the core of the protest.

At the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, some problems involve four student leaders in a disciplinary hearing.
