Three awaiting trial prisoners escaped at Sannieshof holding cells this on 13 June 2017 between 06:30 and 07:00.
At the time of escape, the escapees were in detention for house robbery, rape and murder in two separate cases. Police has launched a manhunt for Samuel Mokgomotsi (21), Knowledge Nyathi (36) and Zakaria Nyalmathe (34). The circumstances surrounding the escapes are being investigated.
