Heritage Protection Group – HPG together with Naboomspruit detectives has followed up information to search for two outstanding suspects on Tuinplaas cas 22/02/2018 house robbery and farm attack on Mr and Mrs Botes at Tuinplaas outside Settlers on 22 February 2018.
A suspected stolen vehicle was spotted and stopped, the vehicle was positively stolen at Mmehlake cas 2/05/2018.
Two suspects fled from the vehicle and fired on HPG members in the process with a handgun he was subsequently wounded. A 9mm was confiscated from him.
He is one of the outstanding suspects on the farm attack at Settlers. Other weapons and ammunition were found in the house where they live.
The driver of the vehicle has also been arrested for theft of the motor vehicle.
