A young woman was the victim of a robbery in her farmhouse on Thursday July 30, 2015, in the early morning hours. She was the fourth farm attack victim this month in the Ficksburg area, Free State.
Nerissa van Niekerk (27) was asleep when the robbers broke into her home shortly after midnight, on the farm Mooiplaas outside Ficksburg.
They broke the kitchen security gate to get access and then broke the door of Van Niekerk’s room and demanded money and firearms from her.
The robbers fled with her bakkie.
She was not injured in the incident.
