South Africans that are working in Mozambique and Nigeria are coming under fire because of the xenophobic violence in South Africa.

SA Airlink has confirmed that the plane was sent after a request of an international engineering firm in Tete to evacuate the workers.

In Nigeria, the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) of President Muhammadu Buhari set an ultimatum to the representatives of the South African High Commission in Lagos that the South African government have 24 hours to stop the xenophobic attacks.

According to the party’s spokesman, Tolu Adesanya, their supporters marched to the South African High Commission to present the written demands on Thursday.

If the government does not stop the attacks APC and other community groups would force South Africa to close its operations in Nigeria, he threatened.
