South Africa will in future be known as ‘Azania’: EFF
According to EFF the country will in future be known as 'Azania'

After the execution in 1856 of dr William Palmer, the poisoner of Rugeley in Staffordshire, the people of the peaceful little village appealed to the office of the Prime Minister to have the name of the town changed because of its association with dr Palmer. The reply came: “By all means, they can name the town after me.” The Prime Minister was Lord Palmerston.

Let that be a lesson to the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF). Look, I know it is Friday at the end of the month and you guys probably got your pay and popped in at the shebeen, but honestly, you don’t need to make public dipsticks of yourselves…

The EFF announced that not only do they intend to change the names of 40 towns in the Western Cape (some weeks ago), but this morning decided that the name of South Africa must now also change.

They say they want to wipe out everything that reminds them of apartheid and colonialism, as if THAT is going to change history! Says Melikhaeya Xego, provincial secretary: “We are even going to track down and destroy the smallest statues of Queen Victoria that’s being hidden in churches.”
“It is unacceptable that there are streets in the smallest hamlets with the name of Jan van Riebeeck or PW Botha”

According to them the country will in future be known as “Azania”. And even in that the EFF and their followers, exactly as is the case with the ANC Youth League and numerous others, reveal their complete incompetence and inability of creating anything new. Not even an original name for the country. Incapable of creating, even less capable of maintaining.

“Azania” is a name also stolen from Western civilization. It is a Greek word used by the Romans. The Greek author/philosopher, Pliny the Elder, already used the term, as did Claudius Ptolemy and others, in referring to the section of coast south of Somalia. The “Azanians” were people of the same ancestral stock as the Afro-Asiatic population of the Red Sea who were violently driven out of Africa by the “Bantu” around the 10th century. It was only about 450 years after this genocide that the “Bantu” started migrating southwards. How does history not repeat itself?

In becoming “Azanians” the EFF admits that they cannot survive without something originating in the West, they admit to wanting to become “Azanian”, not “African” or “Bantu” anymore and lastly they concede to celebrating the biggest landtheft and genocide in the history of this continent, perpetrated by their ancestors. Like father, like son…

And typical of their double standards, they want to wipe out everything that reminds them of Jan van Riebeeck, Queen Victoria and PW Botha. That is now again the pot calling the kettle black and hoping that they could rewrite the book of yesterday and the day before.

Whether you live in a country named after its geographical location or named after a Greek term for the victims of your brutal and murderously destructible nature- If you don’t work, you don’t eat. If you don’t eat, you die. Easy as that.

Forget about changing names, try changing your mentality. You cannot do anything about having been previously disadvantaged – it is however your own choice if you remain disadvantaged. No long deceased Queen of England, Dutch Company clerk or former State President CAN change that. But why would the EFF have the competence to grasp that?
