Sue Howarth has died after a horrific farm attack in which she was tortured with a blowtorch and left on the side of a road near Belfast.
It was on Sunday, February 19 when three suspects on their farm in the Dullstroom area viciously attacked both Sue and her husband Robert Lynn. Read – Update – farmer and wife attacked farm near Dullstroom
Two passers-by alerted emergency services when they found the body of Sue (64) in a field close to the road. Sue was unrecognizable and had a plastic bag tied around her neck. She was in a coma when taken to the Life MidMed hospital in Middelburg and died on February 21.
Her husband Robert Lynn was stabbed several times with a knife and doctors removed a bullet from his neck.
No arrests have been made in connection with this incident and the Middelburg police confirmed they have located the couple’s Nissan Hardbody double cab at a local bar, where it is presumed the suspect left the vehicle.
