A 30-year-old man was shot dead in his bed and his wife was raped by two men during a robbery on Monday May 25, 2015 in the early morning hours.
Maj. Mashudu Malelo, police spokesman, told Maroela Media the incident occurred in Thohoyandou in Limpopo.
Two suspects broke the couple’s bedroom window to gain access to the house. They shot the man in his head and both raped the woman before fleeing.
“A cell phone was allegedly stolen,” Malelo said.
Police are investigating a case of murder, two of rape and burglary.
No suspects have been arrested.
