Rescue Care Paramedics were called to a shooting in Davenport Road yesterday afternoon around 4pm.
Rescue Care spokesman, Garrith Jamieson, said, “On arrival they found that a male had been shot for unknown reasons. Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked to stabilise him on scene before rushing him through to a nearby hospital however a short while later he went into cardiac arrest. Despite Paramedics and Doctors attempts to save the man he unfortunately passed away in hospital. SAPS were on the scene and will be doing a thorough investigation into the shooting.”
