On January 8, a farmer was attacked on his farm situated on the Little River Road, two kms from Jaco Bogaards, Nylstroom.
Three armed suspects tied up Theuns Duvenhage and beat him with a pick-axe handle.
The suspects fled in a north, easterly direction and there is no reference to what was stolen.
Theuns sustained injuries to his back, and remains in a stable condition.
The police will conduct an investigation into this incident.
