Anike van der Walt (80), who stays alone, was attacked by an unknown number of attackers on her plot in Groenfontein, 2km from Vaalwater, near Nylstroom (Modimolle), in the Limpopo province. The elderly lady was attacked and locked in a room on 12 January 2020 at 11:00 whilst the attackers ransacked the home. The woman was only found and rescued on the morning of 13 January 2020.
There is no other information available at this stage, the police are investigating but there have been no arrests.
