“I do not believe in hate or racism. Neither does Steve Hofmeyr. Judge the man for what he really stands for, if unsure find out for yourself. You will then realize that he is not anti-black or a hate ridden or racist person.
The white people of South Africa are mature enough to not linger on those aspects or thoughts.
There are unfortunately individuals that would like to brand Hofmeyr as a racist and expect from him to derogate blacks. They will most certainly be much disappointed.
What is factual is that the whites of SA are currently heavily marginalised through inter-alia BEEE, affirmative action, job reservation which excludes whites, cadre deployment and so called equity measures.
Afrikaans schools and universities are compelled to abandon Afrikaans and the language is not recognised by the government as one of the eleven SA ethnic languages.
The onslaught on white farmers is almost akin to genocide.
Whites are blamed as the cause of all that has ever gone wrong in SA by way of Zuma in his infamous Jan van Riebeeck remarks.
The EFF and factions within the ANC and it`s alliances still adhere to the “kill the boer, kill the farmer” and “one settler one bullet” thought process.
The reckless way and direction in which Zuma and the ANC is steering the country economically and politically is reason for great concern. Even for black folks.
The defacing of statues, renaming of cities, towns, provinces and roads is counter productive and a massive waste of taxpayers money.
The wholesale corruption within municipalities together with their inability to provide basic services is shocking. Huge theft of government funds by provinces and government departments alike is really unbelievable.
Crime in SA is spiralling out of control and South Africa is amongst the top 5 countries in the world with the highest murder and rape count.
Taking these aspects into consideration, it is thus quite logical that groups within SA, even black groups (EFF) will congregate around leaders that are speaking up and resisting all these prevailing wrongs.
Many Afrikaners, including coloured people are perceiving that they are under enormous threat.
Even the EFF – Blade Ndzimande has openly called on the death of the EFF.
This has now also led to a group within the white Afrikaans community to gather around Steve Hofmeyr due to his strong viewpoints and his speaking out against the threats and pressures placed on the Afrikaans language and on whites.
Steve is not anti black, a racist, a warmonger or a politician. He is not a political leader or actively involved in ANY political party. What he in fact is, the following – an activist standing up for the Afrikaans language, speaking out against farm murders and for the advancement of his own people.
If you want to shoot the man down for doing that, please go ahead.
At least he has the guts that you and many others are devoid of.”
