A Gumtree user “Average Joe” published an advertisement selling South Africa’s president Jacob Zuma.
The advertisement, published on 19 June 2014, is titled “President for Sale”. The page describes the offer as: “Desperately in need of a functioning president. This one costs too much to maintain.”
The ad states that the seller “will take what we can get at the moment… just make an offer. Or to swap for smarter/cheaper model”…
