A motorcyclist is in a critical condition after colliding with a train on the R104 about 10 km out of Bronkhorstpruit in Gauteng.
The exact detail to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
When Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene, we found paramedics from the Gauteng Provincial Government already at the scene treating the man.
The Netcare2 helicopter was then dispatched to the scene to airlift the critically injured man to a level 1 trauma facility in Gauteng for further medical care.
This accident happened this morning at about 08h45.
