A man died on Friday night after being wounded in a shooting incident in Queen Street in Kensington, east of Johannesburg, on Friday night, Gauteng paramedics said.
ER24 paramedics and other services attended to the incident, ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said.
“Upon assessment of the patient it was found that he was in a critical condition. He sustained multiple injuries. His condition deteriorated and he had to be resuscitated. Sadly, the man died despite all efforts to save him.”
Details of the shooting were unknown but authorities were on the scene to investigate, Bodasing said.
