Five suspects arrested in Muldersdrift

On February 23, 2015 at about 23:00 members of Drift Reaction’s iron fist squad noticed a suspicious red bakkie with five rather suspicious looking occupants parked at one of the service stations in Muldersdrift.

The commander decided that the squad will hang around to see what they were up to. That sixth sense just told him they were up to no good. They followed the vehicle to Hole in One Drive in Ruimsig keeping a safe distance as not to scare them. The bakkie then picked up speed and the chase began. The suspects tried in vain to push one of the Iron Fist vehicles off the road. On the corner of Peter Road and Beyers Naude the squad succeeded to push them off the road.

As soon as the Iron men got out the driver tried to run them over. Well, that did not go well down with the squad. Five men were arrested with about 160 liters of stolen diesel as well as a 15 liter container with grease. This was stolen from a quarry site in Muldersdrift.

According to their own admissions some of them work and reside in Ruimsig! Well, needless to say they were arrested and have now moved into the cells at the Muldersdrift police station.
