A Johannesburg businesswoman has been shot and killed in a robbery.
Gauteng police have confirmed one of the Rodizio Restaurant owners was gunned down on the M2 highway on May 2, 2015. It’s understood Celia da Costa was travelling with her employee when she was cornered by two unknown vehicles.
Police say the gunmen opened fire and fled the scene with some of her belongings. The 49 year old woman was rushed to hospital where she later died.
Gauteng police have launched a manhunt for at least 5 suspects.
A case of murder and armed robbery has been opened.
