Durban, South Africa – Just to warn everyone. Last night (August 25, 2015) my husband was travelling from Umdloti to Umhlanga at about 7.30pm. Just before the Sibaya Circle he heard a crazy loud bang on his driver side car door.
He never stopped though as you NEVER should! He waited until he got to where he was going to check it out.
Something had connected his car door with such force that it left almost a crater in the door.
It had hit with a force perfectly perpendicular to his door. No sideways drag marks or scratches.
So he asked someone about it who knows guns and what they can do. And sure enough it has been confirmed as a bullet impact. There is lead residue left on the bare metal of the door where it hit.
Someone shot at my husband last night on the M4 freeway.
The guy said that whoever it was, was a pretty good shot if they hit a car going at 100km/h and they were probably aiming for his window to either kill him or make him stop.
I can’t even tell you how much this freaks me out. But please be very careful and aware of your surroundings when you are driving and NEVER NEVER stop on the road when something happens! There are some psycho’s out there.
