An advocate, Tshepiso Motsohoene, was shot and killed at his home in Karen Park in the early hours of Wednesday morning, police said.
The 41-year-old man’s body was discovered in his living room shortly after he was killed. According to Warrant Officer Matthew Nkoadi, police spokesperson, neighbours heard gun shots and quickly phoned the police for assistance.
Nkoadi said Motsohoene was alone at the time of the shooting.
According to Nkoadi only a cell phone was stolen. “All other valuables were still in the house. We suspect it was an attempted robbery but we cannot confirm it at this stage.”
